1. Service scope
LegalTrust provides AI-assisted legal information, legal-document understanding, language simplification, translation, OCR-assisted extraction, citation/source checks where configured, downloadable PDF reports, payment receipts and customer report access.
LegalTrust is a public information and verification-assistance service. It does not provide legal representation, legal advice, court certification, government approval, notarial service or guaranteed legal correctness.
2. Who may use the service
A user must be legally capable of using an online paid service. A minor or legally dependent person should use the service only through a parent, guardian or authorised adult.
3. Upload responsibility
- The user confirms that they are authorised to upload the document for the selected processing purpose.
- The user must not upload documents that breach a court order, confidentiality duty, legal privilege, statutory restriction, protected identity rule or third-party right.
- The user remains responsible for removing unnecessary sensitive information before upload where possible.
- The user must not upload malware, intentionally corrupted files or files meant to disrupt the service.
4. AI output and user reliance
LegalTrust outputs are generated through automated processing and may contain errors, omissions, translation limitations or incomplete context. Users must verify important facts, dates, names, citations, quotations, limitation periods and legal positions from original sources and, where needed, from a qualified legal professional.
5. Temporary processing and deletion
Uploaded source documents and temporary extraction/OCR artefacts are designed to be deleted after report generation or expiry of an abandoned session. Operational metadata, payment records, GST invoices, consent records, audit logs and support records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Deletion Policy. Generated legal-report content is temporary delivery material and is automatically deleted after the configured short delivery window.
6. Account, OTP and My Reports
LegalTrust may use a mobile number, OTP, optional email and account identifiers to link payment, report access, invoices and notifications. Users are responsible for keeping OTPs and report links private.
7. Pricing, taxes and payment
LegalTrust is pay-per-use. The final price, GST/tax breakup and payment method are shown before paid processing. Payment is processed through the configured payment gateway. Payment completion does not guarantee any particular legal result or verification outcome.
8. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. A user disagreeing with an AI-assisted conclusion, status colour or source-check outcome is not by itself a service failure where the report was generated for the selected document and task.
9. Acceptable use
- Do not use LegalTrust to create, hide or support fraud, forgery, impersonation, harassment or unlawful disclosure.
- Do not represent that a LegalTrust report is issued by a court, government authority, bar council, advocate, notary, legal publisher or legal database provider unless separately authorised in writing.
- Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, attack, overload or bypass access controls of the service.
- Do not upload files or content for which you do not have the required rights or lawful authority.
10. Intellectual property
The LegalTrust operator owns the LegalTrust software, interface, branding, workflow, report templates, methods and original platform content. Users retain lawful rights in their uploaded content. Public judgments, statutes and third-party legal sources remain governed by their applicable legal status and source terms.
11. Third-party providers
LegalTrust may use payment gateways, OTP/SMS/WhatsApp/email providers, cloud infrastructure, OCR/AI providers, malware scanning tools and legal-source connectors. These providers process data only as needed for the service and should be configured under appropriate contractual, privacy and security terms before production launch.
12. Availability and changes
Features, prices, supported languages, page limits, legal-source connectors and payment methods may change. LegalTrust may suspend or reject processing for security, abuse, legal, technical, payment or compliance reasons.
13. Liability wording to be counsel-approved
Any production limitation of liability, indemnity, consumer-law language and dispute-resolution clause must be reviewed by Indian counsel. Nothing in the Terms should attempt to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
Unless updated in the final published Terms, the service is intended to be governed by the laws of India. The competent courts/jurisdiction clause must be confirmed by company counsel before launch.
15. Acceptance
By using paid processing, the user confirms acceptance of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Data Deletion Policy and AI / No Legal Advice Disclaimer.
